Dispute resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle).

Terms of use for the MeetDash app

MeetDash is distributed exclusively through the Mac App Store. Your purchase is a contract with Apple Distribution International Ltd. (or the Apple entity responsible for your country), and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”) governs your use of the app. In addition, the following applies:

• Licence. With your one-time purchase (currently $0.99 or the local equivalent) you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use MeetDash on any Mac you own or control, as permitted by the Mac App Store’s usage rules. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase.
• Updates. Updates are delivered through the Mac App Store at our discretion and at no additional charge. We may add, change or remove features in future versions, including the list of recognised meeting services.
• Your calendar. MeetDash reads the calendars on your Mac to show and open your meetings. Your calendar data stays on your Mac; we never receive it. The app does not create, change or delete calendar events.
• Third-party services. When you join a meeting, MeetDash opens the link from your calendar invitation in your browser or in the corresponding app (for example Zoom, Microsoft Teams or FaceTime). Those services are provided by third parties under their own terms; we have no control over them and are not responsible for their availability or content.
• No guarantee of timeliness. Reminders and the menu bar display depend on your calendar data, macOS notification settings and the state of your Mac (for example sleep). MeetDash is a convenience, not a substitute for your calendar; please do not rely on it as the sole reminder for appointments with legal or financial consequences.
• Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple under the Mac App Store’s terms. We cannot issue refunds directly.
• Liability. MeetDash is provided with the care that can reasonably be expected of a software product at this price. To the extent permitted by law, Tathros GmbH is liable without limit only for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
• Governing law. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country in which you habitually reside remain applicable.

Liability for this website

The content of this website has been prepared with great care. However, we cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete or up to date.
